It wasn’t until my credit card was declined at the supermarket that I have come to realize how much I have spent in the short 15 days of Easter vacation here in England: a whopping 940 dollars. It is not like I have toured everywhere in England with the money. Just Manchester and Stratford up Avon. Now with 800 pounds under my belt and 30 something days to go..does it mean that I have to really come to grips to what amount of money I casually throw away?
3 weeks of self-catered accommodation, which means grocery for every day: 12*21=252.
Supposed trips to Birmingham and London: 25+20+25+25=95 (okay, probably gonna cost more than that. Count this as crazy math).
If want to go shopping for summer clothes twice: 65*2=130.
And that amounts to…447 pounds.
God I hope I stick to this budget and there would hopefully be some money left when I go back. Maybe I should have an account book from today on. http://amplify.com/u/bzb2t
